Invisalign® Services in Delta

If you want straight teeth but don’t want to get metal braces, SeRena Dental Centre offers a great alternative. Invisalign® is a teeth straightening system that is removable and convenient. You simply wear a series of custom-made aligners that you change every two weeks. They will help straighten your teeth as each aligner is designed and manufactured to gradually shift your teeth into place.

While metal braces are as effective as Invisalign® products, they don’t offer the comfort, convenience and confidence that clear braces do. These aligners are perfect for patients of any age who are interested in straightening their teeth. Whether your child needs to correct his overbite or you want to get rid of the crowding in your bottom teeth, getting Invisalign® in Delta is a great option.

Braces vs. Invisalign®

Metal braces require irritating brackets and wires, make brushing and flossing more difficult and can cause you to restrict your diet. In comparison, Invisalign® aligners offer many benefits that allow you to live more freely while straightening your teeth. Invisalign® aligners are:

Virtually invisible

Smooth and comfortable

Removable for easy cleaning

On top of these perks, you don’t have to restrict your diet while using Invisalign® to correct your tooth alignment because you take the aligners out before you eat a meal.

Invisalign® Treatment Process

After deciding that you want to get Invisalign® you will talk to your Delta dentist who will create a customized treatment plan for you based on x-rays, pictures and impressions of your teeth that will be taken at the dentist’s office. Invisalign® will use these resources to create a digital 3-D image of your teeth that your dentist will use to map out your personal treatment plan.

You will receive a series of custom-made, clear aligners based on your individual plan. They are made of BPA-free plastic that won’t irritate your mouth. You will wear them throughout the day and night, removing them only to eat and brush/floss your teeth.

Every two weeks you will move on to a new set of aligners to advance to the next stage of your treatment. The aligners should be worn 20-22 hours a day, and you should have occasional checkups with your dentist to monitor your progress.

After you’ve finished your time with the final set of aligners your smile is ready! You’ll want to discuss with your dentist to determine if you need a retainer to keep your teeth in their new position.

If you’re interested in straightening your smile without the use of painful metal braces, contact SeRena Dental Centre and ask about getting Invisalign® in Delta.
